- Nice! We saw a whole family of torrent ducks at Paine Falls in the white water. The chicks were obviously just learning how to get into and out of the white water of the falls.
I found La Serena probably the nicest city in Chile with nice weather. The trip to Isla Damas well worth the day but Elqui was a disappointment. The Valle de las Estrellas just south of the Elqui Valley is nicer with almost no tourists and a dinosaur park.
