What is needed for my Labrador Cartoons???

At the beginning, I didn't know a tablet. So, I used a mouse to draw something. It's not so easy but I think I could do well from the beginning! LOL

In Japan, there were many people who were proud of their skills of drawing illustrations with a mouse in around 2000.

This is a start! I could draw and paint digital cartoons without a tablet!

This is my darling boy, Noiraud painted in 1999, soon after he came to our home. I think that you can see his puppy spirit in the cartoon. I was happy and he was happy at that time. ... Time flies!

This is a rough sketch of Labrador Puppy and it's a start. Once inspiration came, just draw with a tablet. I repeat drawing and erasing roughly till I have completed the rough sketch. I just represent the image how it looked like in my mind. This is the most exciting moment. I can see what I want to draw and paint.

I need to draw very fast, otherwise the image goes away so quickly from my mind.

I need to draw my Labrador Puppy beautifully to print for sale. Again I repeat drawing and erasing. But this time, I do carefully.

And it's a puppy gate, not a ladder. Puppies are curious!! At first, I tried to paint something like a natural wood puppy gate, but it didn't look so good to me.

This is a completed Black Labrador Puppy Cartoon. This is no longer rough, it must be clean enough for printing on paper, ceramic or fabric for sale.

The most important thing for me is not destroying my first impression and the impromptu sense of my image. That's why I need such a cartoon drawing. It's difficult to represent in my other Acrylic paintings.

This is a small painting created from the same sketch. I have "three puppies" behind the puppy gate.

Which do you like better? I love both of my art, off course!! LOL I painted this adorable piece as a donation for Labrador Life Line auction.

Anyway, I need to draw another two puppies cartoon in the future!
