Labyrinth Game Review - Ravensburger Created a Winner!

If you are looking for a fun family game that involves logic, ever-changing mazes and is different from the other games on your shelf then the aMAZEing Labyrinth Game from Ravensburger is for you. This is one of the first games pulled out of our closet each week for family game night, and it is also one of the few family games that my husband and I have played together after the kids have gone to sleep.

The goal of the Labyrinth game is for each player to gather the seven treasures found on their treasure cards. At the start of each player's turn, the maze is shifted and this is where the logic and strategy is put into play. The maze board is made up of individual squares in such a way that adding the extra piece shifts an entire row, therefore shifting all of the mazes passageways and creating a new Labyrinth. Players need to think ahead to select just the right spot to shift the maze in their favor.

It's a great game for all ages. Over the years our family's play of the Labyrinth game has shifted from a family friendly game where we reveal our goal and all help each other to find the optimal maze shift, to a competitive game where we conceal our treasure cards from each other and each play to win.
