What Is Probiotics?

If there's any supplements that you would ever need, it's probiotics. Yes, it's not vitamin C, the most commonly consumed supplement in America. Fact is. if you don't have the right ratio of the "good" and "bad" bacteria in your lower intestines, no amount of vitamins and minerals will do you any good. Instead they will pass through your body like any other junk you ate, plus it takes your body to get rid of them.
That is why you need probiotics. The term probiotics come from Greek, meaning "for life". Probiotics are microorganisms that replenishes the microflora in your intestinal tract. What this means to you is a number of health benefits. This is because yes, a balanced and vibrant population of microflora in your intestinal tract helps your body to absorb the vitamins and minerals you consume. Without absorption, it's like throwing pearls to pigs.
Yes, there are tons of people who simply did not consume enough vitamins and minerals, but for those of you who thinks you have yet doesn't not see any health improvements, this maybe the answer you are looking for.
Why Acidophilus Is Not The Answer You Are Looking For
There are hundreds of probiotics bacterias, with more new ones discovered every year. So which should you consume? The most commonly consumed probiotics is L-acidophilus. This bacteria IS beneficial to your health IF and only IF it can survives to see the day it reaches your intestinal tract. What many people don't know, including me 3 months ago, is that L-acidophilus is highly unstable on the shelf. Most would have died before you buy them and contains only 1000 cells of viable bacterias instead of the "billions" stated on the label. This is because they must be stored under refrigeration or they are effectively useless in room temperature.
Not only so, acidophilus cannot survive in an acidic environment, like our stomach. Therefore not only few are left living when you buy them in the stores, more are killed in your stomach and a negligible amount of them survives to see the light of day.
What Is Lactobacillus Sporogenes?
Lactobacillus sporogenes, also known as Bacillus coagulans is a spore forming, naturally occurring bacteria that is part of the population of bacteria in your body. It produces the beneficial L (+) lactic acid that can overcome the problems acidophilus faces.Unlike acidophilus, Lactobacillus sporogenes can live in room temperature and able to withstand the acidic environment in our stomach. It can then absorb water, swell and more faster into our intestinal tract. It will then populate that area and continue their metabolic activities, producing lactic acid that helps digestion and absorption of vitamins and minerals.
