Getting your very own Belly Dancer art Commission

Are you are Belly Dancer? Then this lens is for you!

I am an artist who draws belly dancers. You can check out my website here. Many people are interested in getting a commissioned piece, this lens is to inform you of the prices and where to start.

Pricing

The first thing you need to know

The thing most people want to know first is how much. The basic belly dancer artwork is 9x12 inches and done with prismacolor pencils and ink on brisol smooth 100lbs paper.

For a 9x12 inch artwork the basic price is $200.00.

This is for one dancer and a basic background. You can have up to 3 dancers in one drawing (the more dancers, the less detailed) each extra dancer is $50.00

Every piece comes signed by me.

What info to give:

The information I need before I start:

Who do you want drawn? Please include as many pictures as possible of the subject.
Do you want a specific pose? Some people want something super specific others don't care.
What colors? Please let me know what colors you would like used in the piece.

Time

How long does it take?

Most of the time their is a waiting list, I am almost always working on commissions, so if you want one by a certain date you should let me know at least 2 months ahead of time. The correct waiting time is about 1 month, though that can sometimes go up to 2 months.

Once I sketch out your drawing in pencil I will e-mail you the sketch for you to approve, once approved I ask for a 50% deposit to continue. Then once it is finished I scan and e-mail you the finished work then once the other 50% is paid send it along to you. The whole drawing can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks.

You are not buying the rights!

When you have a commission done you are only purchasing the drawing - not the rights to use the drawing in flyers, business cards or anything else.

Customize it!

For those who can't afford or don't want a commission

For those who want more options you can completely customize my already exsisting belly dance artworks in my zazzle gallery. You can add your name or your troupes name and put the art on many different products including tote bags, shirts, stickers, prints and key chains.

Visit Lacys zazzle gallery, click on the product you like and then click on "customize" to see all of the options. You you need help, you can contact me through zazzle or my website and I will make the products for you. Just let me know what drawing you like, and what text you want on which products.

Click on "Imari and Sahara Dessert Dancers" section to see what I have done for their troupe.
