I have a passion for flower photography and photography in general. On a day of shooting flowers one day I stumbled upon a ladybug on this daisy flower.
Ladybugs are supposed to be good luck when you find one or they come to you, so I thought this was pretty cool to find this one. I love ladybugs! I took these photos with a Nikon D3100 camera with the kit lens set on macro setting during a day in June while it was still Spring.

Ladybug and Poppy
This ladybug flew into this poppy while I was photographing the flower in June while still Spring. The ladybug was in the poppy long enough for me to get a number of shots. It was slightly windy so the petals of the poppy kept blowing over the ladybug and also blew the ladybug around a bit. It was amazing to watch nature and ladybugs in their world and even more amazing to see close up what the world inside of a poppy and closer to a ladybug look like. They say ladybugs flying to you are a sign of good luck. I felt lucky to have one fly to me in that moment.

I am fascinated with macro photography whether it be flowers or insects, drops of water or plants. It is so cool to see in photographs what I don't usually see with my eyes. It opens a whole new world to discover, a world I am amazed by me.
This ladybug kept moving around but I was able to capture it in different ways as you will be able to see on this lens in the different pictures here.
