    This is such a breath of fresh air! I, too, love ladybugs and have since I was very young. I love photographing them, too. Your designs are so cute. I loved the cookies, too! Darling site--I'd give you 6 ******'s if I could ,but five will have to do. I'm lensrolling this over to my "Try, Try Again: Ants at Work" lens, too.

    What a fun lens ~ 5* I think Ladybugs are wonderfully helpful for natural insect control and are the only bugs (except for Dragonflys) that I do NOT squish :o)

    Great lens! The lady bug is the only bug, bug that I tolerate, (butterflies/dragonflies don't count ;)). When I lived up north, I once found 58 lady bugs in my apartment. Yes, in one day! It was funny because we lived on the third floor and had virtually no plants. It was cool but even though they were lady bugs, it was a bit creepy. We had no choice but to vacuum them up.

    Love the lens I am making it a favorite! One fun tradition we have in our house is buying ladybugs for our garden and releasing them. If you have kids it's worth it just for the fun they have doing it...my kids were in awe. Not only was it fun releasing them, but we got to look for the ladybug eggs on leafs, and the ladybug "lizards" (they look very different in their early stages--like little black aligators, sometimes with a red spot on their back). Not to mention they do a bang-up job nixing the aphids.

    I love ladybugs too. Your site is wonderful. Here are some more interesting facts: ladybugs come in assorted colors yellow, orange, red, grey, brown, and all black. Insect poo is called frass.

    Our neighbor had a ladybug poo on her. It was tiny yellow balls. She was gross out but all the kids were fascinated!

    I used to make ladybugs crawl on my hands as a kid and my youngest daughter asked me to get her a Ladybug outfit for Halloween so we are ladybugs lovers too in our family; very cute lens!

    Very nice lens, 5***** I love ladybugs too although in England we call them ladybirds. There used to be a series of Ladybird books for children that used to teach you about different things. They were very popular.
