Take a Scenic Tour of Lake Forest Resort

Weekenders, seasonal residents and RV travelers find Lake Forest RV Resort near Wakefield, New Hampshire a restful retreat. The beauty of Great East Lake invites kayaking and motor boating. Boaters enjoy seeing loons, sparkling water, and classic New England cottages and cabins on this large lake surrounded by the heavily wooded foothills of the White Mountains.

Walking in the woods, playing golf on the 9-hole golf course carved out of the forest, or swimming in the lake provide activity choices for summer residents of Lake Forest RV Resort. Events, dinners and excursions fill the bulletin board making it hard to fit it all in.

This 55 and older resort has spaces for short-term RVs, seasonal RVers and snowbirds, park models and hand-crafted cottages. Be as active as you want or just take it easy relaxing in a wooded setting at your site or take a walk or bike ride down to the lake.

See, the chairs on the dock waiting for you. Just before or after dinner time each day, these chairs fill up with retirees and soon-to-be-retirees enjoying the view, watching the sailboats on the lake and waiting for the sun to slip down behind the White Mountains in the distance. They pull the chairs into groups and greet friends and exchange news. You could be there too.

Stop by the small pond to watch the rainbow trout (no fishing in the small pond). Sometimes a mallard duck family swims close to shore looking for handouts.

I'm collecting good places to visit when we start our RV adventure next year. This looks a lot like where I grew up in the UP of Michigan.

Yes, I'd love to visit Lake Forest RV Resort! Looks lovely. But what's with the line of empty white chairs on the deck - I started laughing as soon as I saw them!

Everyone heads home for supper about the same time. Actually the chairs are frequently full as people gather to chatter, admire the sailboats gliding on the lake, and watch visiting grandchildren splash in the sheltered swimming area.
