I hope someday in the near future to visit Lake Cargelligo. My husband was born in Lake Cargelligo in 1939. I would like to trace his family tree and visit the street he lived on. My husband past away last February2nd, 2010. He came to the USA in 1974 but he always came home to Australia to visit. He never forgot his roots. We had not seen each other in 25 years and found each again and married in 2009. His dream was to take me to his birth place and explore this beautiful place he called home. Clement John Lewis MD was a wonderful human being and he resting in Spearfish South Dakota. The Black Hills reminded him of NSW and also Spearfish Canyon where Dances with Wolves in part was filmed was a favorite place we enjoyed. Dean Semler is an Academy Award winner for Dances With Wolves. also did a film there in Lake Cargelligo in 1979. I hope someone from Lake Cargelligo will read this and remember the family.

Few lenses I've seen are as detailed as you made this one. First, I love the details about a place I've never been to but already feel very knowledgeable about. The historical pictures are great, plus the combination of the great details and the videos just makes this lens so perfect.

Wow, this lens shapes up more almost as a perfect way to decide to live at Lake Cargelligo. Great, informative and I found the the info on the Australian Hovercraft Federation National Rally to be very informative and fun. This is the kind of lens that can be so addicting to read and enjoy.

My father Harry Plunkett moved to Lake Cargelligo in 1951 as a bricklayer and the only one in the district. He did the brickwork on the Ambulance Station, Memorial Hall, District Hospital Front gates, Anglican Church, Catholic church and many more buildings in the town & district. He moved his family there in 1952 ( wife and 4 daughters and later had two sons). Harry played the Sax at many of the local dances and was well known in the town.
