Langley: The Birthplace of British Columbia
Langley is a community of more than 100,000 people in southwestern British Columbia. Incorporated in 1873, Langley includes the historic villages of Fort Langley (the birthplace of British Columbia on Nov. 19, 1858) and Aldergrove (formerly Jackman's Corner). It also includes newer neighbourhoods Murrayville, Brookswood, Walnut Grove, Willoughby, and the rural South Langley and Glen Valley.
It is an incredibly picturesque and wonderful community to live in, visit, or carry out business. Full of rural and heritage sites, its western corridor is also urbanized and modern.
