Lapbook

Ranked #2,351 in Education, #56,201 overall

A lapbook is an educational project that is used in a lot of homeschools and is catching on for classroom use. A lapbook is fun for children to make and is very educational. Lapbooks help reinforce what the child has learned and gives them something to look back at and to remember what they have studied.

How to Fold a Lapbook

Take a file folder and open it up so the inside is facing you. Take one side and fold it inward so the edge is touching the middle and crease it. Then take the other edge and fold it inward until it is touching the other edge and crease it. Now you have a file folder in a shutter fold, so it opens up in the middle.

P.S. What is The Homeschool Club?

THE HOMESCHOOL CLUB is real parents and kids sharing their best resources for great homeschooling. Each day we celebrate learning by opening doors to a world of creativity, knowledge and discovery. In the car, at the kitchen sink, and down by the frog pond - the whole world is our classroom and we explore it with creative projects, games, and activities. This club is a place to share, organize, and discuss how and what we learn in the world. Make a free page to tell your own homeschooling story and share your favorite resources. We can't wait to hear from you!
