What to Do...
How to organize your "Quick Biome Lapbook" project
First of all this is not your normal lapbook with folded accordion matchbooks and tabbed tri-fold flap books. This might be more aptly named a fancified report cover.1. Look for a paper report cover that has brads or some sort of fastener to secure loose pages in the middle, preferably without pockets.
2. Organize your materials from the stickynote list located near the top of this lens. (Scissors, glue, stickers, etc.)
3. Print out enough worksheets and other printables from the "Biomes' Lapbook Links" also found above. Print enough for each student to have one copy. You will need enough of the Biome Report Sheets for each biome you intend to include in your booklet.
4. Have students complete the Report Sheets and punch holes and place in center of report cover.
5. Cut out and fill out the other worksheets and booklets that you chose to include. These should be glued on the front inside panel. This is your only real spot to place any lapbook type items.
6. Make a Biomes World Map with a color coded key. Color each ecosystem area in a different color on a blank world map according to the given website or other biome map. Cut out to glue on the first inside panel of your report cover.
5. Give your report a title in large letters (stickers, printed, handwritten) on the front of the report cover, and include your name as well.
6. Decorate the report cover with cut out pictures of biomes, animals, etc. from magazines or make your own eco drawings.

- Oh, the pics are great! (So great that you should bump them up way higher on the page!) The blurred faces threw me for a second. I thought, "Oh, poor dears, they have deformed faces." LOL! Then I realized what you had done. So silly of me.
