Real Time Lapbook Tutorials!
Wouldn't it be great if another homeschooling mom could come over with a lapbook in hand and simply show you what lapbooking is all about?
If she could let you see an actual lapbook and explain how it works, how it's made, and what her children learned, then you feel sure you could really understand what a lapbook is and how to use it yourself.
With the help of YouTube, you can "invite some lapbooking moms over" and see exactly what lapbooking is all about. View sample lapbooks, learn about minibook folds, and be encouraged as you see that lapbooking is not difficult.
Homeschool Share Videos
In my opinion, the very best online source for totally FREE lapbooks is Homeschool Share.
Browse their extensive list of free printable lapbooks. Or use their free blank templates to create your own masterpiece.
All of the materials at HSS are freely shared by other homeschooling moms. Consider sharing what you create as well!
These videos showcase lapbooks made with the free resources found at Homeschool Share.
Little Blots Videos
Little Blots is also known as Christian Preschool Printables. (This is the sister site to Lapbook Lessons, linked below.) Here you will find lapbooking resources for Biblical themes.
Lapbook Lessons Videos
Lapbook Lessons is an entire social network (at Ning) set up just for lapbookers!
The videos offered by Lapbook Lessons here give a lot of tips for the actual how-tos of making minibooks and assembling the lapbook.
You'll also find a few example lapbooks featured here. These are available for free when you become part of the Lapbook Lessons network. It's free to register, of course. And you'll have access to free printables as well as an entire forum devoted solely to lapbooking.
Live & Learn Videos
Live and Learn is a retail lapbook kit provider. They have loads of amazing minibook how-to videos! Even if you don't buy their kits, you can glean from their detailed tutorial videos. Here are a few examples. Their entire collection can be found on the Live and Learn Channel at YouTube
