Instructions for memory upgrade

Random access memory (RAM) is the best known form of computer memory. RAM is considered "random access" because you can access any memory cell directly if you know the row and column that intersect at that cell. If your system responds slowly or accesses the hard drive constantly, then you need to add more RAM.

Netflix Movies

The Netflix module has been phased out. You should edit your lens and try adding an Amazon module instead!

Remove the Screws

The memory compartment is very easy to identify as it has the memory logo.
Just remove two screws that hold the cover.

Remove the Existing Modules (if any)

As the laptop here I received has 2 slots consisting of 2GB of memory which is a pair of 1GB, so I have to remove one of them in order to install 2GB per stick.
To remove the stick, just push the clips outwards that hold the module and take it off.

Installing the new card or module

Insert the new RAM by pushing it on 45 degree into the slot until it firm then pressing down directly to fasten it .

Powering UP!

After the new card installed, re attached the compartment cover then install the battery pack. Run the BIOS setup by pressing F10 on start up screen then it will show you the total system memory. Mine is 1GB + 2GB so it shows 3 GB.
Thanks & Enjoy
