The Xbrand stand does this very well. The dimensions of it allow a portion of my 15.4" widescreen laptop to extend out allowing plenty of air space and the well in the middle of the Xbrand further gives it air. The grips on both the front and back hold it into place super well, no matter what position you choose. (For anybody who has a drive on the front of their laptop, there is a button that clicks that front hold down to access your drive and your computer will still not slip.)
