    I see burlap also is used for laptop covers. It never ceases to amaze me how many different uses people find for burlap. It's the fabric equivalent of WD-40

    A kid at the local mall had an all black sleeve with a skull in the middle. It had a small opening for the charger cable and the eyes on the skull would light up while charging.

    Nice reviews and a fun read. Myself, I'm challenged not only by the need to protect my MacBookPro in a groovy way--yes, I'm a total design freak--affordably, I'm thinking green these days, too. How big a stomp am I making, carbon footprint wise. We're working on a new doc on ocean acification and sustainable filmmaking is ground we're trying to break at the same time. I spent a bit of time researching green sleeves: you can see my findings at http://www.aseachange.net/2008/07/shopping-for-a.html. Haven't yet found the perfect choice, but some contenders. And sexy design, for sure.
