Lara Croft Costumes

Born on February 14, 1968, Lara Croft is a British video game character and Amazonian heroine in the Tomb Raider series of video games, movies, and comic books. She is the brain child of Toby Gard, and has spawned seven different incarnations in the video game series.

Lara has been portrayed as a British Archeologist, who is always in the search of treasure. Her interest in archeology began at an early age; however her confinement in the upper society prevented her from actively pursing this profession. However, everything changes after her plane crashes in the Himalayas, leaving her the sole survivor. This experience alters her life completely and she starts traveling around the world, studying and understanding the ancient civilizations. As a result of this, she is disowned by her father, Lord Richard (Henshingly) Croft. Lara then starts working as an archeologist on hire, acquiring ancient and rare treasure from some of the ancient art collectors in the world.
