This knife is truly for the man who has everything. It is officially recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's most multifunctional penknife.
Recently this monster swiss army knife was featured on the hit show Storage Wars - Texas. It's hard to believe that they actually make this knife to sell to the general public.
This knife is put together in Switzerland by only two people, and because of the exacting standards needed to put this knife together they have to be specialists in cutlery.
I love Swiss Army Knives, the coolness factor has never worn off for me. I've used every single tool on the SwissChamp I own.
If I owned this knife I would have to use it every chance I got, I wouldn't be able to leave it in the box as a collector's item. This incredible conversation piece has 87 precision-engineered tools with 112 functions. They began making these knives in 2006 and the official name of this knife is "The Giant".If I had one of these I'd have to show it off to everyone who came to my house. This truly is a gift for the man who has everything.

Swiss Army SwissChamp XAVT
The next largest you can buy is the SwissChamp XAVT. Although physically this is a really large Swiss Army Knife, it is still very usable.It has 80 essential functions packed into one tool. The REALLY cool thing I like about this knife is that it has a digital clock, altimeter, barometer, and thermometer built into the translucent red grip.
Of course it still includes all of the assorted knives, scissors, and screwdrivers you'd expect from a Swiss Army knife.
This one also comes in a very nice gift box. One function that escapes a lot of people is that it has an illuminated display, all you have to do is hold the button down a few seconds.

Swiss Army SwissChamp Mother Of Pearl
The SwissChamp comes with 32 different functions and is my favorite, I personally own two of them.I bought three of them in Hong Kong at the duty free store when I was working overseas in the mid 90's. I loved mine so much I bought one for my father (which I inherited back) and one for my brother.
None of them were the mother of pearl version though. If It had been out at the time I probably would have bought it and kept it for myself.
One word of caution if you buy this knife, it doesn't normally come with a pouch and I would highly recommend getting one to keep the mother of pearl from getting scratched up.

If you're into being green you certainly can't go wrong with the Swiss Army Evowood models. The handle is made from sustainable top quality walnut blocks that would otherwise be thrown away.This knife was featured in Mens Magazine's Holiday Gift Guide 2010: Timeless Treasures article.
I've counted 16 different functions for this knife, but I really like the universal wrench and the pliers, I don't have the wrench on mine but I use the pliers all the time and these are beefier than the ones I have.

This is a fabulous Swiss Army Knife. It doesn't get any better than a combination of Porsche Design and Wenger Swiss Army Knives. The sleek styling combined with the soft gray handle make this a very unique knife.There are 12 different functions on this knife but of course the one that stands out the most is the Cigar Cutter. As I understand it, this is the only knife made that comes with a cigar cutter.
If you like a good cigar then this is definitely the knife for you, I'd list the other tools that come with this knife but when you have a cigar cutter the other tools are just fluff.

It is a common belief, that the officers in the Swiss army receive the model with the red plastic handle. This is untrue, all members of the army are issued the standard anodized aluminum knife at the start of their military career, which they keep while advancing through the ranks.
