Larry who? Bass? LarryBass?
This Canadian Outdoorsman - is Now a Lensmaster too...
You see, I've worked real hard to get Google, Yahoo, Dogpile, Alta Vista and a few other top search engines, to get to know me somewhat and to track down who I am. I wanted Google to know, right from the start, what I like to do and what I prefer to write about and what I want to share with others. The more He (the Great Google) knows that stuff, the more he likes me and the more likely he is to send a new visitor or two my way, once in awhile perhaps? :-)
Even faster, You could just click right here...Larry's Blog to get started on seeing what else I like to do too.
You could also simply Google, "larrybass lensmaster", which is my Latest keyword string, Now that I've found out about the Amazing Squidoo too. ;-) Yup, bin' a busy boy lately 2 B sure... :-)

Canada's Outdoorsy Lensmaster at your service...
Here are a few pictures of various things I'm into...
There's more over at My Flickr Pictures, which, by the way, is an amazing place to store etc Your photos online, for free. There are three sets to choose from, once You arrive at the Photostream. Nature, Fishing and Outdoorsy Gear. Enjoy!
Also, I am totally pleased with the revelation recently, that the Great Google, is already sharing His Love for my Flickr URL's too. They've even hit the first page during an image search for myself. :-) For a basically humble and low-key sort, like myself, this Exposure, gives my wee ego an Awesomtastic boost! Like adding jet-fuel to my gas tank, sort of... ;-)
Another thing here, to further plug Flickr. In my humble estimation, on the topic of Quality, and how easily it is used and operated by the user, then Flickr easily gets 5 stars on my lists, from this ol' Lens Master.
Hope you enjoy Flickr too, because it gets even better when you actually join. :-)
Oh ya, and it's fast and easy to get going in there! Go ahead, get Yourself Flickr'd to-day! :-)

Not that any of that is a big deal or anything, it's just another way to help You to identify with me, or not... |-) Remember, my background is reality based and formulated, Not University driven nor was it started by any richman's roots...
So anyways, Now you even get to see, if you're interested of course, just what kind of pictures I like to Make. You also get to learn a little about the Very Cool Photo storage website, over @ Flickr , the very Cool Photo place for You. This module was created in order to help me become a better Lens Master, with nice Photo's for You, my viewers and readers all...
It is my hope that this Canadian powered Squidoo Lens, could just possibly get YOU started up or renewed enough again, about Life & Living it, to head down a long and kool outdoorsy slanted road, to-day. Maybe even one of the roads to becoming a fellow Lensmaster too... ;-)
All the best,

Lure pictures and more...
Outdoorsy pictures on Flickr...
Here's just a little part of some of the Pentaxing ( my lingo there) going on lately in my life, that I thought I'd share here with You to-day. A few of my captors, if you will. :-)Just follow this link to have a look at more pics I've got stored over on Flickr. Go to the Fishing Set once you get there, for the Lure shots.
Larry's Photos
By the way, Flickr is a Great place for Your photo storage, with lots of very cool features as well. Give them a try, if You want to free up some of your HD space, of lots of those resource eating pictures you've got on there... :-)
The lure on your right is a slightly customized big fish lure from my work bench. It is now labeled, the Bearded Flatfish, due to the swatch of natural animal hair seemingly growing from it's lower lip. In the water, this configuration appears as a nice big fat juicy minnow, struggling to swallow a big bug or a moth. It brings on big fish attacks. Customizing lures is one of my favorite mid-winter projects. Makes the winter, fly by...
As You may or may not know, I LOVE the art of Fishing,
so here's a hyper-link to my new Fishing Lens, right here on Squidoo. Fishing In Ottawa It's already getting a few nibbles. A few more wouldn't hurt. Go take a look see, and drop me a line. :-)

Squidooing for fun...
Now that you've seen here, a little sample of how it's done, what are you waiting for there friend? Get going on your own Squidoo lens to-day! I've just proven right here, that it's all very easy, being a kind of a backwoodsman for a long time and not an electronics tech-no-geek and all. :-)The more of these little lenses you build it seems, the more fun it becomes. You've already made a lens? COOL, just start creating more then. Each lens could be a totally different topic. I've still only got a few but each one of them has brought me joy and pleasure and brought me closer in my appreciation for my fellow man and nature. Express yourself my virtual friends, express yourself. Of course, as always, be careful too...

My ideas on Health...
Keeping or getting, Healthy...
We Can stay Healthy or get Healthier than we are now, and live a Longer and Better Life, because of it. Lots of what you may read in here will sound a little weird, for lack of a better word, but it's all for Real! I practice what I preach and I share willingly what I know to be true, with others, who wish to know my opinions and thoughts.I have a Large Belief in FOOD being our very BEST medicine. Years of studying this subject has turned up tons of confirmed documentation on all of this material shared in here, to do with Food.
O.K. Ready? For starters then, the way I see it, there are only two (2) main broad categories of food. Does that Surprise You a little? Well, were off to a good start then. :-) The two groups of Food are Very Easy to remember. Either Your Food is ALIVE or it's Dead... Simple, eh?
An example would be say, a nice green head of Lettuce is quite alive, as is an Orange, Apple, a Grape, or a Potato for that matter. Now on the other hand, if it comes in a can, bottle, box or bag, the chances are Very Good that it's dead food in there. Just ponder THAT for a moment. Jeeees, I can almost hear You right Now, saying, like Wow man, that's a big chunk of my food yer callin' Dead, there buddy! :-) Hey, like I've said before, I do tell it like it is.
O.K. then, the next part is this. There are basically only two (2) ways that a food can go. It is either Alkaline or it's Acidic. Hmmmm. I Love these things that work in 2's, so that it's easy for my little ol' brain to remember them. When things get too complicated, we tend to forget them and get frustrated with them and therefore, Never really learn about them.
So, to summarize, Most Live food is quite Alkaline and Most Dead food is indeed Acidic, is a relatively correct statement, in order to keep things simple here.
Now, ideally what You want here is a nice balance of roughly 75% Alkaline and 25% Acidic foods getting into Your system. Most people have those numbers reversed, at best. Most people are on the verge of or suffering with, Acidosis because of all the dead food they consume.
Now if you add The two most popular "society" poisons that we eat every day, salt and sugar, into that equation, you've got a lot of Un-Healthy people running around out there with a lot of building up problems. Most of those same people have NO CLUE that their problems are in a large part, due to their lack of proper foods and un-balances of PH levels in their bodies...
What about You? Don't You think that LIVE Food can and will produce Life and so therefore, dead food can and will, only promote death? There's something else for You to think about to-day, eh? ;-) How 'bout this too then? Have You Ever wondered Why you most certainly see a lot of Vegetarians and Vegan's out there these days, but correct me if I'm wrong, you do NOT see ANY Meat-a-tarians, for lack of a real word? :-) Carnivores doesn't quite sound right somehow. Well, the quick answer to that is, You Can NOT Live on Meat alone, or Bread for that matter. I'm sure You already knew that part though, eh? :-)
I'd have to say that virtually All the meat we eat to-day is really Quite Dead, and not really all that fresh either. That's understandable, seeing as Most folks don't go Fishing anymore for their supper or eat Venison, Moose, Rabbits or Squirrels much nowadays either...
Any fish, just fresh from a lake where You just caught it and dispatched it yourself, is still SO Alive with enzymes even when it hits that frying pan on your campfire, compared to what they call, fresh fish, down there in your local grocery chain display cases.
