Larry The Cable Guy Lost 50lbs

Larry the Cable Guy will begin appearing in NutriSystem print ads and tv advertisements soon.
Larry the Cable Guy has lost 50 pounds on NutriSystem.

Larry, whose real name is Dan Whitney, 45. He weighed 282 pounds when he filmed the just-released Witless Protection, and he says that when he saw some of the clips of the movie, he couldn't believe his eyes. "I was like, 'Holy crap. They've got to show this on two screens.' I actually made Michael Moore look fit. Ben and Jerry sent me a Christmas card."

Soon after Larry talked to a buddy, singer Tony Orlando, who had lost weight on NutriSystem, and he decided to try the diet program himself.

Larry says he decided to do TV and print commercials to show others that they too can lose weight if he can do it. Soon you should see Larry as The New Spokesperson in a Nutrisystem commercial.

Larry The Cable Guy Gets-R-Done with NutriSystem!

Larry The Cable Guy Gets-R-Done with Nutrisystem!

Comedian loses 50 lbs.*, tells it like it is
Comedian Larry The Cable Guy was on the set of his new movie Witless Protection when it hit him: Man, I'm fat. He was up to 282 lbs., in fact-the heaviest he'd ever been. And it was just getting too hard to huff and puff his way through all those action scenes.

He knew he had to do something, but wasn't sure how to lose the weight.

His answer came later that year, while filming his annual Christmas special. One of his guests, his friend (and singing legend) Tony Orlando, looked tons better than the year before. So they got to talking, and Tony told Larry about how much success he'd had on NutriSystem (he lost 103 lbs.*). Once Larry found out that he wouldn't have to give up his favorite foods to lose weight, he was sold!

After production of Witless Protection ended, Larry ordered NutriSystem and was a big success, losing 50 lbs.*

Read what he had to say about NutriSystem, said as only Larry The Cable Guy could say it!

Why He Joined
"I packed on some pounds, kids. Heck, take a look at that before picture! I got as fat as a pig in a chocolate factory. No two ways about it. Man, it was just time to make a few changes. Time to transform this doughy body into a lean, crowd-killing machine and Git-R-Done.

Get this. I lost five bowling balls off my tukkus! Fifty pounds*, folks. Man, that's the front end of a pick-up."

It's Convenient
"Look, I'm too busy stealing my neighbor's newspaper and mowing my lawn with a chainsaw to deal with weigh-ins and chubby meetings. And I ain't getting' in front of a crowd, steppin' on a scale so someone can tell me if I lost weight or not. (Actually, in my free time I like to hump my microwave down to some diet meeting, pop in a NutriSystem barbeque chicken, and wolf it down in fronta all them. You'd think you were at a horse track-all those longing faces.)

Why leave home if I ain't gotta? NutriSystem delivers everything to me. A month's worth of tasty food, right to my door. I'm a snacker, too, 'specially before a show. So being able to take NutriSystem with me everywhere is real convenient."

It's Easy
"Now I wouldn't call me "lazy," but I like easy. Easy's really simple. Get me?
Here's what I like about NutriSystem: it's easy.

Truth is, if you can manage a microwave, you can manage your weight with NutriSystem. With NutriSystem, you just heat and eat: ya pop one in the microwave and eat it when it's ready. That's it. If you're confused, you ain't payin' attention.

The most difficult part of NutriSystem is figurin' which meal you want for dinner. (You got more tasty options than a dog at a dinosaur museum.) Like I said, the only thing I gotta do is pick out a meal, push a few buttons, and eat when the thing dings.

Man, if I can do it, you better hope you can, too."

It's Great For Men
"I've gotta say something to the guys out there. Not only is this program easy, it tastes great, and it's made for a man's man, like myself.

I like to eat. I don't believe the folks out there telling you that asparagus has feelings or meatloaf is better without the meat, and you shouldn't, either. Fill your gut up with MAN FOOD. Good night, they got a lot of food for guys. This here's man food. I ate like a man oughta, the whole time. Pizza, burgers, beef-meals for men with chest hair.

In fact, I ain't afraid to whip up a batch of grub in front of buddies. Ya got your pot roasts, your beef-ya got MEAT.

Guys, this stuff plain works. It's tasty enough that I still eat it, even though I lost all this weight! I'm tellin' you. NutriSystem worked for me."

Larry The Cable Guy's Bottom Line
"Look folks, I lost fifty pounds*. You think I could do it without NutriSystem's help? There's a better chance of me beating my sister in a footrace to the donut shop.

Got a weight problem? Great, let's do something about it. Start NutriSystem's Advanced program and Git-R-Done!"
