Believe it or not, Las Vegas hosts quite a few business, professional and volunteer organizations dedicated to addressing green issues such as green building, alternative energies, water conservation, sustainability practices, etc. Below are just a few examples. For most businesses, the easiest way to learn about Green issues is through the local Chambers of Commerce.

- Mt Charleston Wilderness -- camping, hiking trails, cooler temperatures in summer.
- Bike Trails in Henderson -- extensive network throughout the city plus scenic trails to Boulder City, Lake Mead, and Lake Las Vegas.
- Venetian Resort -- I feel comfortable here given the choice of amenities. And it's easy access to The Palazzo and ...
- Sands Convention Center -- my favorite convention center in town: easy to get around, connected to ample parking, restaurants and entertainment at Venetian / Palazzo Resorts.
