Where to get married in Las Vegas!
Did you know that about 5%, or nearly 120,000 couples, choose Las Vegas for their destination wedding? As a resident of Nevada, I'd like to take a moment to thank you then for stopping by! Goodness knows our state needs the visitors.
If you're planning on getting married on 12/12/12, here is a list of some of the chapels in Vegas. There are more wedding options in Las Vegas than any one lens here at Squidoo could ever cover. In fact, there are books on the subject that don't have room for all the details. But, this lens will provide a jumping spot for narrowing down your options when looking for that perfect chapel that fits your wedding budget and plans.

Graceland Wedding Chapel
Graceland Wedding Chapel is located at 619 Las Vegas Blvd. South and one of the more famous stand-alone Las Vegas wedding chapels and home to the original Elvis Weddings where you can have an Elvis impersonator officiate. They are one of the oldest chapels in Vegas from the 1950's, and when Elvis was alive he did give them permission to use Graceland for a title.

Graceland Wedding Chapel has been featured in several movies, my favorite of which is Fools Rush In featuring Selma Hayak at her best. It was such a cute show.
The Little Church of the West
The Little Church of the West is one of the oldest chapels in Las Vegas and also has the distinction of being listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Some of the celebrities that have been married at this chapel are Betty Grable and Harry James back in 1943, Richard Gere and Cindy Crawford, and Billy Bob Thornton and Angelina Jolie.

- We're locals. Married here twice. First time was the downtown drive through. Sounds unromantic but very practical for simple ceremonies. Second time was the lovely couple featured in our little moniker. We opted for the traditional theme, which Excalibur did a very nice job of. Perhaps we'll post it on youtube and reference it in Squidoo eventually.
