Journey Out with a Love One

Cruises can be one of the most romantic vacations possible. Picture it. You are sailing away with your love one, away from life in the city and breathing in the fresh air all under a star-tinted moonlight. Cruises such as those out of Calpe and Benidorm are great choices for honeymoon vacations or any type of romantic vacation.

You will find that having other couples on board will enhance the atmosphere. You can either become friends which will add to your fun on the cruise. Or, you can choose to stay to yourself as a couple giving you time to focus on your relationship and become closer as a couple.

Most times, couples on cruises are newlyweds who have chosen a sailing vacation as their honeymoon choice. If this is your plan, be sure to shop around before purchasing a cruise package as man will offer special honeymoon rates and other special amenities such as a table for two, breakfast in bed or even a wedding cake. If no special amenities or favors are available at no cost, you will still find many economical favor packages and some good deals on planning those small surprises for your loved one. For example, consider ordering flowers in advance and arrange for them to be in your cabin before you arrive on the ship.

Many couples choose Carnival Cruises, including honeymooners or couples just looking for a romantic, fairy tale vacation to take them back to the honeymoon feel. Though the wedding cake at your first dinner is free, you will need to pay for extra favors such as balloons in your cabin to enhance the romantic atmosphere. Honeymoon packages are also available for purchase which including champagne, cameras, T-shirts among other fantastic items.

Princess Cruises are also a popular choice in cruise lines. With these cruises, the wedding cake and the cabin decorations are free. They offer two honeymoon packages for purchase, specifically the Honeymoon Experience and Princess Honeymoon Experience. The Honeymoon Experience package offers engraved champagne glasses, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and two long-stemmed roses for under $150.00. The Princess Honeymoon Experience is more costly as it includes massages, robes, appetizers delivered and breakfast in bed in addition to everything offered with the first package.

Regardless of the cruise line you choose, enjoy your sailing journey with your loved one. Cruises can be a vacation filled with romance, fun and memories. Most of all, just relax and enjoy the time together as a couple.

Tips to Cruise Planning: How Lengthy Should Your Cruise Be

Time is always a precious commodity. Once gone, it cannot be recovered back. For those first timers who are going for a cruise, one of the most important things you have to decide is the period of stay on board a cruise ship.

Together with most things in life, if the trip turns out fine, you will find that your time has been well spent and you will most likely be looking forward to the next voyage trip.

However, there could also be cases whereby for whatever reasons the cruise trip could end below your expectation. Under such circumstances, you are not able to leave the ship as and when you like and you will be stuck with the ship till the entire voyage ends.

Hence, deciding the duration of stay on a cruise ship is a delicate one and requires careful considerations.

If you are first timer, I would suggest you opt for a shorter package as you will commit less time. The cost of such packages tends to be lower as well. A short package will usually means a time period of 3 days to 5 days. Introductory packages like the Cunard's QE2 offer a weekend package are targeted at first timer cruisers who wants a taste of what cruising is like.

Of course, if you are quite sure that you are going to have a good time with all the facilities and entertainments on board the cruise ship you have chosen, a 3 to 5 days package may be grossly insufficient. In this case, you may feel comfortable with at least a week package or so. If you are keen to explore further regions like the Panama canals, you may want to even consider signing up for the 30 days or more package.

Ultimately, the time and money is yours to spend. There will always be cruise packages that can meet your needs. But be sure to research carefully the cruise ship that you will be spending your holiday time in.
