Last Words before Dying
Welcome to the collection of the 'last words' of some great and famous people. Birth, death and dying are a part of life for all. In the brief history of the earth spanning a few million years, one lifetime succeeds another and what we leave behind for remembrance are the famous last words, or death quotes or quotes before dying. In life and in death, we can look up to the famous people and great people who inspired us through their work, to give a semblance of solace, and a reflection to feel about 'what it feels before dying'.
For great men, common men, eminent men, nobility, royalty, a commoner; for you and for me - Death is the leveler! What we say before dying stays with the family and what the greats and the erstwhile famed, spoke about, is now history.
Here is a soulful and a thoughtful collection of words said before dying which can be touching to the heart and comforting to the soul. I hope you will like them as much as I enjoyed in collecting them and compiling them. God bless and live strong. Say things that will be remembered for long.

- "Lord help my poor soul." - Edgar Allan Poe (1809 - 1849)-really liked his line!
My last words would be "Lord in thy hands, I give my spirit."
I use to be affraid of death when i wasnt saved by Jesus but now that I am born again, I have no fear of death because Jesus conquered death and rose up so that we [all who believe] shall all rise on the last day. But I do thirst for my lord to full fill all his wills in my life before he takes me.
Praise the lord.
