Far from being bitter about missing out on the coveted Christmas number 1 spot the Wham boys donated all of their profits for the single to the Ethiopian famine.Wham re-released the single in 1985 and again in 1986.
In 2007 Last Christmas hit the UK's ITunes Top 10.
A number of people that I know feel like it's Christmas until they hear the song on the radio. People in Germany must feel the same way as every year since 1997 Last Christmas has entered the German Singles chart.
