(LOS ANGELES: January 27, 2010) - D.R. Whitney, author of "The Last Princess and the Cup of Immortality" has teamed up with top 3-D production company, The Third Floor, Inc., to develop a 3-D animated feature film of her book as part of her fantasy saga, The Goddess Prophecies.

With the building fanfare on fantasy's new darling, the long-awaited adaptation of her tale will soon be developed by the top-ranking production brass of The Third Floor (with talents best recognized for their pre-visualization work on "Beowulf," "Star Trek," "Iron Man 2," and "Avatar").

"It gives me great pleasure to have The Third Floor Productions join my creative team," announces Whitney.

The Third Floor will be preparing the 3-D conceptual pre-visualization as part its film production of "The Last Princess."

"Rarely do we come across a property that has been so fully developed as The Goddess Prophecies," states Chris Edwards, CEO of The Third Floor. "Professional pre-visualization would insure that the fantasy effects described in the story would be executed with great efficiency as seen in 'Avatar.'"

Whitney's journey for creating her magical world onto the page (including the companion audio book and iPhone application, among other multi-media platforms), would make for yet an interesting read alone. Almost twenty years in the making.
