Although ballroom and latin dance may be unusual for many U.S. citizens, it is widely known and loved throughout most of the world. When many of us think of ballroom dance, we think of waltz, foxtrot, tango, and other such slow dances. In reality, there are many upbeat and very fast dances such as samba, salsa, cha cha, swing, jive, hustle, merengue, and even the quickstep.
