Laughing together feels great!
I laughed so hard, I cried....

A couple weeks ago, my Mom and I were watching a movie called Run Fat Boy Run. It was so funny. There was a scene in the movie where the main character had a itch and was trying to itch himself while being inconspicuous. It was the funniest thing. We laughed so hard we were both crying.

- I really haven't in a while. But I remember working on the property and my family really did not like it when one son and I worked together on a heavy job. I remember lifting something with him on the other end and we could do it as long as we did not catch each others eye. Then it was all over and we laughed so hard we could not finish the job. The heavier the job, the more we laughed. I really don't know why but it happened every time. It will even happen now when I get together with him - and we don't do the heavy jobs anymore.

- I love those moments when something unexpected happens that catches you the right way where you just burst out laughing and can't stop. It could be something someone says and an image pops into my head, it could be while people watching and seeing something unexpected happen, or some funny line or scene in a movie or on TV. Laughter is the best!!

- I've not laughed until I've cried, but I've laughed until I couldn't stand up. Most recently, watching some documentary on the way people live, eeking out a living from a hostile landscape, they were scaring birds away from their crops by banging sticks on pans. Then something totally unexpected, they set up volatile liquids around the trees and BLEW UP THE TREES! It was just the sheer lunacy of it and contrast with banging on sticks that made me unable to stop laughing - with my wife. We laughed for ages, and just when we thought we'd stop, one of us would let out another laugh and we'd be in fits again. Not even sure the program was that funny, but laughing together like that was great.

- I love to laugh, I try for it not to be Schadenfreud too often, but the Failblog has me in stitches, as well as laughing with my baby daughter. That laughter yoga is awesome. This lens is great fun - and I am going to feature it on my Live, Love and Learn lens - we all need to laugh more. On a side note - I often get odd looks from colleagues for laughing too much at emails at work.
