Laughter Is A Most Awesome Medicine!

Could you enjoy laughing 20 minutes per day? Think about it! Go ahead and laugh, point and giggle; do it with satisfaction and do it for your health. You may be preventing Diabetes; you could be keeping yourself from heart attack or when you belly laugh. I love to laugh; my congregation loves to laugh. It's ok! Laughing is contagious and soon everyone around you will be laughing too (and getting healthier!.)

Laughter Is An Awesome Medicine!

Laughter Best Medicine

Think of the simplicity of laughter as inducing such amazing benefits to your health that could rival the expensive drugs of today? Laughter's serious health benefits may have been spurned in times past, but over the years, countless experiments have concluded with scientific data that laughter has one of the most astounding benefits for your health. Never be ashamed to laugh! I've been making public talks since 1969 and I have learned that laughter is not only fun; It is good for you; One of the best things I could do for my congregation is help them laugh! My point is: laugh and crow till you lose your breath! Laughter has mammoth amounts of benefits ranging from improving diabetes, lowering risks of heart attacks and all in between!

Laughter Benefits
  1. Experiments have been conducted on such things as type II Diabetes which is an increasing problem for many Americans today. A study from Japan at the Foundation for Advancement of International Science, Bio-Laboratory, found that laughter helps normalize gene expression to help control type II Diabetes. This is a huge discovery. This means that laughter has such a homeopathic effect on even the gene expressions, meaning we can speculate that, if we were a happier sort, the gene that causes type II Diabetes may possibly never be expressed. Granted, it will not take the place of insulin therapy, but it may be key in helping to avert the disease.
  2. We have heard about the positive impact animals and clowns have had on nursing home and terminally ill children.
  3. Studies also suggest that laughter positively affects rheumatoid arthritis by affecting its severity and its psychology in the patient.
  4. Possibly the biggest discovery, published by S. Karger AG, Basel, is that laughter is now being confirmed to alleviate some of the lasting effects of heart attacks. This means less medication and fewer repeat attacks.
Laughter is Beautiful!
Thirty minutes per day. Think about it! Go ahead and laugh, point and giggle; do it with satisfaction and do it for your health. You may be preventing Diabetes; you could be keeping yourself from heart attack or when you belly laugh. I love to laugh; my congregation loves to laugh. It's ok! Laughing is contagious and soon everyone around you will be laughing too (and getting healthier!.) Life can sometimes be too serious, depressing, and tiring! Find the good; if you look around and can draw some laughter out of what may seem mundane you will be helping your health. 4. If there's one thing I have to admit about my mother is that she was always right about this: Laughter Is The Best Medicine...
  5. Why You Should Laugh More? I have long been a fan of the Reader's Digest "Laughter, the Best Medicine" column and often suspected that laughter was good for me. After all, I was raised on the mantra "the family that laughs together, stays together" and my family possesses a long list of "in" jokes that require nothing more than a catch phrase to crack up the whole clan. However, now my suspicion that laughter is good for me can actually be backed up by scientific evidence. Humor can improve memory. This would explain why so many advertisers spend a great deal of time and money on funny ads and gimmicks
  6. Excess Weight And Body Fats? Laugh Them All Off Have you ever heard of the truism "jokes are half meant". If you have, do you believe in it. If you have not, then now, you have read of it and maybe if you read on, you'd be able to think of a joke of your own which could be half or full-meant
  7. Why Are Unhappy People Unhappy? Unhappy people are usually unhappy because they have not mastered the ability to be happy within themselves. Therefore, they may try and gain happiness/pleasure through others no matter what that entails. Don't get confused with my usage of unhappiness and then compare it to depression because they are two different things. This article is about unhappy people - not depressed people.
  8. Anxiety And Humor: Laughter Can Help Everyone has their own idea of what they consider funny. I believe that humor depends on the mood you are in. Sometimes what you think is funny today may cause you to be annoyed another day. Perhaps humor is a subjective thing that feeds off of people's ability to relax and respond naturally. I know that when you have a good belly laugh as it is called you forget everything temporarily
  9. It's No Joke, Laughter Is Awesome Medicine! You go right ahead. Laugh and cackle to the point of losing your breath. Laughter has enormous amounts of health benefits ranging from affecting diabetes to lowering risks of heart attacks and everything in between.
  10. The Power Of Laughter "Good humor is tonic for the mind and body. It is the best antidote for anxiety and depression. It is a business asset. It attracts and keeps friends. It lightens human burdens
