Laura Cantrell

Laura Cantrell is a country singer, originally from Nashville, Tennessee. She has released three albums to date - each a mixture of original material by herself and friends as well as older country songs.

The late British DJ John Peel was largely responsible for breaking her in the UK, with her 2000 album, Not The Trembling Kind.

Laura presents a weekly radio show called Radio Thrift Shop on WFMU in New Jersey.
