I love Anita Blake! You find so few vampire novels these days that actually have a point and aren't all true love forever or walking happily into the sunset. Those annoy me. With Anita, the vampires are actual vampires and don't sparkle, the werewolves are more than big furry wolves, and the plot lines are captivating.

I enjoy reading si/fi and fantasy so I assumed I would like Hamilton's books. I didn't get past the first chapter. It was a little to graphic for me. She has a good following though. To an author, that's what matters.

I HATE anita series SO MUCH!! I mean wtf?? Things in her book that totally piss me off!!!!!
"Its a rule." "Bully for you." "Ri-ight"? And in one book she had to use the word entourage at least 3 million times.
I say she should find something else to do with her life. I almost stopped reading permanently. The worst torture I've ever put myself through.
