Lauren Bush and David Lauren Wedding

Lauren Bush, 27, and David Lauren, 39, were married on 04 September 2011 at the Lauren family's 17,000-acre RL ranch in Ridgway, Colorado.

The marriage of political and fashion dynasties took place before approximately 200 guests.

Lauren described the wedding as "rustic elegance" while her husband, David, described it as "a beautiful movie - like you were riding across the Old West and you stopped in at a wedding."

The wedding ceremony took place on Sunday, in keeping with the Lauren family's Jewish tradition.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds rode down the mountain in an old horse-drawn carriage. "We had ten minutes to ourselves," David remembers. "The mountains, the blue sky, the fields, the cows . . . it literally was like riding in Heaven."

A reception followed in the 200-year-old barn which was decorated with white, cream and blue fragrant flowers including wild roses, lily of the valley, Queen Anne's lace, and delicate gardenias.

The wedding supper included steaks from the ranch in addition to vegetarian selections, while country singer, Michael Martin, performed.

"Any experience of a girl picking out her wedding dress is amazing," Lauren says, "but I have to say it was really special to work with David's dad, to see him in action with his team."

Lauren Bush and Ralph Lauren would share wedding dress inspirations at family gatherings to arrive at the final gown.

"It isn't Victorian exactly. I wanted something modern as well, so there is the high-necked collar and puffed shoulders with the large open back", says Lauren.

The wedding dress is the creation of 100 craftspeople and 3000 hours of their dedication. It is made of richly embellished fabrics with the top layer in featherweight tulle of antique ivory. Delicate flowers, Renaissance scrolls in ivory silk and metallic thread, Swarovski crystals and pearl beads create the wedding dress features.

The bridesmaids wore ankle-length prairie skirts, linen vests and cowboy boots.

Lauren also wore cowboy boots, blue socks for something blue, a headpiece as something old and Victorian-style earrings belonging to a friend as something borrowed.

The Amalfi Coast or "Costiera Amalfitana" is a stretch of coastline in the southern Italian Province of Salerno.

It extends from Positano in the west to Vietri sul Mare in the east.

The Amalfi Coast consists of 13 towns along the road that goes from the Gulf of Salerno to Naples.

Each town has its own cultural traditions and features beautiful villas, gardens, beaches, lemons orchards, flavours and scents.

Lauren Bush Lauren was born on 25 June 1984 to Neil and Sharon Bush.

She is the niece of former President George W. Bush and the granddaughter of former President George H.W. Bush.

Bush attended the prestigious Kinkaid high school in Houston, Texas; studied fashion design at BEBE and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design; and graduated from Princeton University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology.

Bush is signed with Elite Model Management and has featured on the covers of Vogue and Vanity Fair. She frequently models for Tommy Hilfiger, Abercrombie and Fitch, Gai Mattiolo and Isaac Mizrahi.

David Lauren was born in 1971 to Ralph and Ricky Lauren.

Lauren studied Political Science at Duke University, where he also founded, presided over and edited "Swing", a general interest lifestyle magazine for Generation X.

David Lauren has held the position of Senior Vice President, Advertising, Marketing and Corporate Communications at Polo Ralph Lauren since 2001.
