A quick overview of Law and the Internet
Internet, Law and society
The taming of the wild frontier
It is not really about the laws that govern the Internet, it's more about how the Internet shapes our thinking and how that then translates into the way we think about the law.
The most important thing to know is...
Law is a reflection of the way we are thinking, the Internet is a vision of where our thinking is going.

- Every site should take all precautions to ensure that they are compliant with local, national and in some cases international law. Do these precautions however change the way the sites operate and what is available, especially if they are a free social networking site? I think free social sites have a bigger challenge than private sites.
