Whatever you think, about you bring about. Here's a simple trick to change your thinking and change your mood right away! If you find yourself thinking about what you don't want - immediately change your thought or focus to what you would like or what would make you happy. If you are thinking of something that makes you sad, angry or upset, then switch your focus to something positive. If you find yourself complaining, try gratitude. IT WORKS. What are you grateful for?
Whining, griping, and complaining only gives your focus to negativity and thus will attract more of these things right back into your life. Remember that we always have the ability to choose what we focus or think about. Thinking negative thoughts is just a bad habit that many of us have developed. But really the only thing we do have control over in our lives is how we choose to react or think about our experiences.
We all have the ability to view our circumstances in a healthy and positive way. Developing better ways to perceive our reality is just a mental skill that we all can choose to master. Many of us are coming to this awareness after years and/or decades of the exact opposite training! But so many of us are choosing to develop this positive thinking muscle. I find it exciting and amazing. I bet you do too!
