takes the lazer-tag biscuit in terms of its compact sophistication and thoughtfully high-tech modular design.

The lazertag game battle system is well built, sturdy and can take the kind of punishment only kids can meet out.

So what's in the box?

Two pistols (blue and gold),

Two electronic sights, and two shotgun/rifle attachments, along with one game training module.
Instead of relying on a separate sensor, a unit that registers scored shots is built right into each gun. When you're ready to play against live opponents, just flick the gun's power switch. there are three game -play settings to choose from:

Solo, for man to man combat, and Team 1 and Team 2, for dividing up into rival teams. Once selected it is announced through the gun's speaker by a futuristic female voice. Now you're ready to start, just pull the trigger to begin the countdown to the match.

Firing the gun results in a relatively loud "zapping" sound (just like a star Wars blaster), simulated recoil, and a flash of illumination, from the pistol's rear light. Also visible from the back of the pistol is your health status (on the left side) and ammo count (on the right side). Just like the movies, in order to reload you must flip one of the virtual clip release/open tabs on the handle and then slam it home.

However, you don't have to wait until your ammo is expended to change the clip.
