Helpful ideas to maintaining a healthy body weight
Switch up your diet.
Your body needs a jolt out of the ordinary.
Rotate your focus each day. One day focus on carbs... yes.. eat carbs! Eat a minimal amount of protein that day. The next day, focus on protein.. eat no carbs. You can eat as many veggies as you want.. but watch out for fruit. Also be careful of your beverages.. drink tons of water, and no sugary pop or coffee. Try this for a week, and you will see results!

Stuck at your desk? You can sneak in a little bit of exercise
I do this in bed to help my back. Strong abs give you fewer back problems. Relaxed buns and abs feel good to your back. So these little movements can really pay off.

No better way to sneak in some physical activity
I like to position myself like I am going to do a situp, with my knees facing the tv. Now in order to see you have to pull yourself up with your abs. Flex and hold. Do this at a great moment in your favorite show... you won't give up!

Running for the bus is really good for you! Try to incorporate any physical activity into your commute everyday. It's like frequent flyer miles... they add up really quickly.
Learn about the sports you love
Getting away from the gym is good
Are you into team sports? Joining a soccer league, getting a tennis partner, playing baseball, basketball and hockey are ideal ways to stay fit.
I hate team sports. I suck at them, and so I feel dumb. If you are like me, focus on the endurance sports like skiing, hiking, kayaking, rollerblading, walking, biking and running. These are engaging yet fun, so your exercise time isn't torture.
Altering your calorie intake
When you don't want to diet, make small changes
- drink flavored water instead of cola
- use skim milk in your coffee or tea
- stock up on healthier snacks -pinpoint your cravings
- buy sorbet instead of ice cream
- take the time to make your lunch
- make exciting salads- with cheeses or nuts
- buy really good salad dressings
- avoid things really white
- embrace things really green
- if eating out, try to resist adding bacon and cheese
- drink tea! it will help in digestion
- ban french fries, pizza, hamburgers and french fries.. it's not that bad!
