This is great! Modest clothing is so hard to find... I keep hearing about Halftees (http://www.halftee.com). The lady who created halftee is LDS and wanted to make undershirts that had modest necklines and sleeves.

My favorite LDS place to shop online is www.riccifashions.com. The best thing about is their site is they not only have regular sizes but also plus sizes, not to say their prices are really great too. Just wanted to let everyone else in who didnt yet hear about it.

Useful lens! It's helpful to non-LDS folks who are considering gifts for Mormon friends! I think that would make for a great new lens -- shopping ideas and tips for non-Mormons who are shopping for an LDS friend (or just a conservative friend.)

My absolute favorite LDS place to shop for modest tees and camis (gorgeous other clothing too) is : http://www.impelclothing.com/ref/4db3304abe4b9.html I have honestly never been disappointed in any of their items! I also love the fact that I am supporting another LDS mom.

What a great lens. I'm a grandma so I don't do much shopping for young girls other than gift time for my grandchildren. However, I do notice how the young ladies are dressing these days and find it shameful. I don't blame the girls because this is what they see in magazines and on tv and I can relate to wanting to be like everyone else. If they only knew how much nicer they could look by beng a bit more modest. Thanks for all the great info in this lens. I'll be sure to pass it on.

I wish my daughter would dress more modestly. She's over 25, you'd think she'd know better - I certainly didn't raise her to dress in such a revealing manner. 5* for a great cause lens.

Hi. Great job on your lens. I appreciate the link to our company - KneeShorts Clothing. If anyone is interested, we now have a page on facebook. I plan on keeping it updated with all the latest company news. I thought your readers might also be interested in an article that my husband wrote about modesty and the apparel industry - http://www.kneeshorts.com/modesty_article.html. It was also published in Meridian Magazine. Take care.

Hey this lens is great! I love it! I am also LDS and know how hard it is to find modest clothing. Check out my lens where I have my fashion designs up, all modest. I alter a lot of my clothing so they will be modest. Thanks sharing your values!

I totally agree with you, it is exciting to see so many great modest clothing sites entering into the clothing market. I makes me happy to know that women and teenage girls now have stylish options to dressing modestly.

I would also like to let you and your readers know of another great website that sells modest clothing.

    Sierra Brooke
    http://www.sierrabrooke.com

They offer a nice selection of cute tops, stylish skirts, chic dresses, and accessories. They also have a section called Brooke's Closet that offers gently used modest clothes ALL under 10 dollars. It's great for people on a budget like myself. :-)

I have order several items from Sierra Brooke and have been very happy. Good quality and fast shipping!

I would appreciate it of you would add a link to: http://www.cbformals.com/bumofofor.html
One of the problems I have found is the modest often means expensive. I am trying to change that.
    Thank you,

I gotta have some of these cool LDS shirts! They're awesome and I love the prints! Well, maybe after I can earn and save enough money from selling Tinkerbell checks , I can even buy one or two as surprise gifts for my wife and of course, buy something for myself! hahahahah...thanks for sharing this!

Thanks for your great resources, thought I would post a word of warning...
I ordered a prom dress from Eternity Store. They are real sticklers about returns. You lose $20 in shipping costs, plus a $10 restocking fee, plus you have to send it back w/in 48 hours or they will only give you store credit. It really makes shopping UNFUN!!

Thanks Aimee! Good luck with your CTR shop. We all need more LDS themed, modest shirts to choose from.
  • aimeeroo Aug 30, 2006 @ 1:40 pm | delete
I actually have a couple of LDS themed shirts on Cafepress. CTR ShirtShop, I have had them since 2002, and find that there are a lot of people who want something cute, and LDS themed, but without being totally obvious. Great lens!
