Any small business relies on Leads. If you have no customers, you have no income! Set aside time each day to consciously lead generate and your business will change immeasurably! I developed this lens in less than 1 hour of my lead generating time on February 12, 2009. I will let you know if I get leads from it!

Here are 10 Ways to jumpstart your marketing! If you have any other ideas, please email and I will add them with a link to your site!

10 Ideas To Jump Start Your Lead Generating

LEAD GENERATING FOR SMALL BUSINESS AND REALTORS - Everyone who OWNS a business wants to know how to get more leads. Everyone who works FOR a business should also be concerned with getting more leads!

I spoke with a friend today who said her husband was just called in and told that he was doing a good job BUT....

BUT in this time of economic uncertainty, good isn't good enough. They have charged him with finding new leads for the company!

Whether you are an employer, employee or a sole proprietor, you should spend a part of every day searching for ways to generate new business.

10 Ideas To Jump Start Your Lead Generating

  • Contact your database or sphere of influence and let them know that you need help to grow your business. Ask if they know anyone who could use your services right now!
  • Contact your past customers and see if you can sell them something else - the cost of leveraging a past client is miniscule compared to attracting a new one!
  • Join a Networking Group
  • Take your best clients out to lunch
  • Send an article to 5 people a day (cut them out of the paper or search online)
  • Send a personal note to 5 people a day
  • Pledge to add 5 people a day to your databas
  • Put EVERYONE you meet in your database, do NOT cherry pick the people you think may buy or sell from you! Mark them (email only) if you think they are iffy about buying soon.
  • Send out a monthly email to your databse
  • Send out a monthly direct mail piece to your database

These are just a few of the ways you can keep in touch with your clients, past clients and prospects. Let's all vow to make 2009 the year that we make a REAL effort to get more business and keep more customers!!!

*** Blatant Advertising for Thrive ***

Julia Fishel subscribes to the premier Thrive program for Realtors for $200/month. She receives the emails and the scripts and the newsletters that are included in the $25/month package. The only difference is that 200 postcards customized with her logo are also direct mailed to her database every month.

Here is her email response to November's mailing:

"By the way, got our copy of this month's postcard in the mail today, it's absolutely incredible. Do you have any extras floating around for purchase? Did I mention that I have a listing appointment tomorrow as a result of the postcard?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! About 20 of our cards go to a farm area and my appointment was just a farming call - he says this is the 3rd card he got and so he thought he'd call because he didn't realize that Realtors can really help with all sorts of situations. I've had no other contact with him! Thanks :)"

Business owners from all fields are getting the same kind of results when they consistently utilize the tools that The Thrive Client Contact System provides.
