Lead Capture On Exit....
This is one of the basic fundamentals of marketing - whether online or offline - find a way to communicate on a regular basis to your prospects and turn them into life long clients.
Many sites will employ a simple sign up box on their webpages, hopefully with an 'irresistable offer' as a way of thank you....
However it's not unusual for visitors to either miss the sign up box, or not realize the value of the 'irresistable offer' being made.
As such, making an offer as someone exits the page is another way to increase your Lead Capture and possibly sales.
This lens explores using a simple script, know as Exit Splash to make an 'exit offer' to your site visitors.
Enjoy the learning....
Lead Capture With PopUps
What Is A Pop Up
Many people feel that pop-ups are highly annoying and generally don't implement them on their websites however, when done well, they can be one of the most powerful ways to engage visitors, build relationships and get more sales.
A Pop-Up on entry - grabs the visitor's attention and gives your visitor's a specific message which should increase the conversion rate
Research indicates that using a pop-up to ask people to sign up for free newsletters or reports significantly increases sign-up rates - thus allowing you to build an on-going relationship with your visitor.
An exit pop-up (displayed when the visitor leaves your site) allows you to ask their opinion - providing more in depth market research, thus allowing you to meet your market's needs.
Using a pop-up window when somebody doesn't buy your product to ask them why they didn't buy will provide great information for research purposes.
An Exit Popup, can "down-sell" - If somebody doesn't buy the product they are viewing, you can offer them a different product at a lower price - this addresses price concerns.
The benefits of a Pop-Up are boundless - when implemented well....
Have You Acted On The Contents Of A PopUp?
This is the tool that the famous Michael Cheney added over
20,000 fresh leads into his sales funnel
Online marketer named Michael Jones slipped this small script into one salespage and increased his optin rate by 325% and injected an additional $4,329 into his front-end!
What Is Exit Splash
New Exit Technology Gives You the Ability to Quickly Siphon Fresh New Leads & Dramatically Increase Sales as well as Help Optimize Your Online Web Pages ... or Your Money Back!
That's a big claim isn't it? Well, Dave Guidan is making exactly that claim for his 'little script' known as Exit Splash.I am always cautious about how much money I invest in new tools, or gimmicks, that supposedly improve the efficiency of your business but in reality fail to deliver. I have been disappointed any number of times with software, scripts and the like that are poorly written, full of bugs and generally don't work...
It's also not unusual for the tech support is non-existent OR you are treated like an idiot because you can't get the script working and "no one else has that problem".
It's all very frustrating...
I've tried several Exit Pop-Ups and found them difficult to set up or just plain buggy.
I've tested Exit Splash and I'm impressed...
What Does Exit Splash Really Do?
Exit Splash detects the visitor navigating away and literally asks them to look at another offer -- it then displays your special offer page to the visitor...Even better, it gives your visitors warning that they should be looking at the offer - it can be configured to use a MP3 recording and will actually 'talk' to your visitor and tell them what to do...
And while the script is 'talking' to your visitor, a graphic is displayed over the offer page encouraging your visitor to 'take a look'. Here's a screen shot of the Exit Splash pop-up:

The 'special offer' page can be any html page, or a completely different website - if you like. This gives you complete flexibility in what you do.
Is Exit Splash Really Easy To Install?
Exit Splash is relatively easy to install and configure. Literally, all you need to do is:
- Intall the script on your server
- Create your sales page
- Create your exit offer page
- Insert the code that the Exit Splash generator gives you into your sales page
- Upload, or activate, the pages
Better still, Exit Splash works with Wordpress -- so you can install the script straight onto your blog or Wordpress website and capture leads or make an exit offer as your visitors navigate away.
See how Exit Splash works by visiting My Exit Splash and simply refreshing the page.
