How to use the checklist to be a Network Marketing Leader By Design

True Leadership is an invitation to greatness we first accept within ourselves and then extend to others.

The following "checklist" is designed to help you build your Leadership Platform and keep moving forward to a higher level of performance each day. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced network marketer, there is something here for you.

Leading Forward in Network Marketing embraces:

  • Moving Forward with Planning, Action steps, and Self Accountability

  • Building Forward through Personal Sponsoring and Team Growth

  • Coaching Forward through Team Leadership

  • Creating Forward through Personal Growth and Mastery

    Here's the empowering part. Most, if not all, of the ideas shared on this checklist are ones you instinctually already know about leadership; leading yourself and your team, and leading life to its fullest.

    The key is developing yourself, living purposefully, and leading forward in your network marketing home business.

    As you go through this checklist, read each statement aloud and honestly answer yes or no. For each "NO" statement, turn it into a goal and start taking the needed steps to turn that NO into a YES.

    We know, without a shadow of doubt, that if you continue to develop yourself and are able to say "yes, I'm doing that" to the checklist items, your network marketing business will flourish!

    • Moving Forward: Your Checklist for Planning, Action Steps and Self Accountability 

    I begin each month with clear goals for myself and my team:
    - Personal Sponsoring
    - Marketing Strategies
    - Team Coaching
    - Personal Development

    I outline and implement the actions steps I will take to achieve my monthly goals

    I am resourceful and seek out the knowledge and tools I need to achieve my goals

    I create self accountability by producing tangible results or movement as evidence of my action steps

    I have a 1yr, 3yr and 5yr strategic plan for promoting myself to leadership positions, and I'm on target

    I create visual anchors to stay connected with my goals and achievement
    (vision board, goal cards, affirmations, mirror messages, success journal, etc.)

    Building Forward: Your Checklist for Team Building and Team Growth 

    I have a complete "system" for building my business.

    My "system" includes:
    Mindset --> Marketing --> Presentation --> Follow Up --> New Partner Coaching

    I am personally sponsoring new partners onto my team each month as a result of my daily actions

    I have developed my style and methods of marketing myself and presenting the business to others

    I am confident in my sponsoring process

    I utilize an organized system for following up with my possibility thinkers

    I am tracking my sponsoring steps, lead follow up, and results

    I am tracking my overall team growth and team volume each month

    I continue to expand and educate myself on new ways of building my business

    Coaching Forward: Your Checklist for Team Leadership 

    I set the pace of my team, I teach and lead forward by example

    I have an effective "new distributor" getting started training system in place

    I communicate regularly with my team and provide, or guide them to, learning tools and resources

    I lead with the Coaching Mindset:

  • listening effectively

  • acknowledging and recognizing strengths while clarifying challenges

  • asking the right questions to empower others in finding their answers within

  • offering compassionate feedback to facilitate the growth of others


    • I encourage and expect resourcefulness and self accountability

    I identify and offer leadership opportunities to my top performers

    Creating Forward: Your Checklist for Personal Development and Mastery 

    I am clear on my "why" and vision, and believe I will achieve these

    I am committed to living my life at my optimum level of performance

    I seek out mentors who guide and challenge me to move to the next level

    I am reading books or listening to personal develop messages 30 minutes per daily

    I take time each day for my personal well being
    (healthy eating, exercising, staying balanced and organized, etc)

    I work with a plan that allows me to put my top priorities first and postitions me in a place of most potential
