Lead Generating For Network Marketers

If you have been in the
network marketing business for any length of time you know that you need people to be successful in this industry. You also know that you must help them to be successful if you are going to be as well. It's the only industry that I know of where, in order to become successful, you must help others reach their success. There is no job or business other than network marketing where this is true.

Think about your job. Is it in your bosses best interest if you are successful? Not usually. If you aren't successful, you can be replaced, right? Your success is dependent on you and you alone. The same goes for your boss. His/her success is in their hands and helping you become successful could cost them their job. It's a cut throat world. In the corporate world, you have to step on others and climb your way over them in order to be successful. Your success in "the real world" is dependent on being better than anyone else.

Network marketing, on the other hand is amazingly different. Your success is completely dependent on helping others achieve their goals. You absolutely can not be successful in this industry without helping others become successful. This is how we all help each other. Help and be helped. No cut throat here. If that happens, you cut your own throat as well. See how completely different this is? This is how we can all work together and all become successful.

You might be agreeing with me at this point. This all sounds great. Everyone helping everyone. Great, but you might be asking, "where do I find people that I can help be successful in network marketing"?

You may have come to the Internet looking for some help with that very thing. Finding people.

You've probably exhausted your names list. You may have tried "the three foot rule", the "when in doubt, blurt it out", "everyone is your prospect", and that list could go on.

I know, I tried all that. I stepped out of my comfort zone to do all of that and more. I decided, NO MORE. I'm not doing that any more.

So, just like you, I came to the Internet, looking. Looking for what, you might ask. I was looking for help. My upline just kept telling me to keep doing what I had been doing.

Keep doing what was not working? It wasn't working!!

So, I came, looking and I did not tell my upline. This is my business and I will work hard, put in the effort and time, but I am not willing to keep doing things that do not work.

So, here's my point.

Yes, here's what I really wanted to tell you...I know, finally, right? :-)

You can "attract" prospects to you, your product, your service and/or your opportunity. The key is that you are attracting them. You no longer go out "mall crawling" looking for prospects. You no longer have to hit upon every friend, family member, co-worker, etc for your business opportunity and/or beg them to "just try" your product. People will begin to find you online, like what you have to say, maybe read more, get to know you, contact you, get to know you more, buy from you, begin to trust you, maybe buy again, maybe join you in business. So, can you see how this works? You put lots of content out on the Internet, link it all together and people begin to find you.

This was amazing to me. I was SO uncomfortable approaching anybody and everybody I came across. Plus, you can certainly understand how annoying this must be for them as well.

Not only that, but is this duplicatable? In network marketing we need to duplicate what makes us successful and we need to teach that to other people who join us in starting their own business. Duplication is key.

So, how exactly does someone get started with this attracting marketing? That is a great question!
