Who is Leanne Chesser?

I was born on March 11, so I'm a Pisces.

And if you're wondering the year . . . it's 1966!

I'm not into astrology or horoscopes but I am into personality and the Piscean descriptions describe me well in many cases! A lot of the time, I'm a conundrum, a mystery of opposites (the Piscean symbol is two fish swimming in opposite directions).

I love this quote from the Pisces Sign website:

"Pisces daydreams are by no means vague; they are complete life stirring epics and are conjured up with a realism that can exceed the intensity and excitement of real life events . . . You could easily spend all your time in this dream world of yours and be perfectly content."

Very true! I often find myself in "thought-land."

What's a Giant Squid?

According to Megan Casey, "It's a VIP program on Squidoo for the best, most prolific lensmasters. Gotta have at least 50 terrific lenses in order to apply."

I published my 50th lens on December 4, 2009 and applied. I'm excited to report that I'm now a Giant Squid! Woo hoo!

My goal now is to go for 100!

I just have a connection with elephants.

Not sure why, really.

But I love them.

I think they're beautiful and I care about their treatment.

I collect elephant figurines and I have tons of them around my house.

I became a vegetarian about 5 years ago, but I didn't like meat before that and I didn't eat much of it.

I finally decided that I needed to eat according to what my body wanted, so I stopped eating meat.

At first, I still ate fish, eggs and dairy because I originally became a vegetarian because I didn't like meat (and also because I believe it's a healthy way to eat).

Then I stopped eating fish and eggs because I came to care more about the environment and about animals.

I started s-l-o-w-l-y eliminating dairy . . . and now I'm almost vegan. It's just that darn cheese that I love so much!

I just found out that I have Celiac Disease as well (October, 2011), so my diet is now gluten-free too.

I love to learn.

I'm always learning.

I love to read. I love to figure stuff out. And I soak it all in like a sponge.

It's a foundational part of my personality. It's part of my vision for my life.

It's something I have to do . . . and something I believe in doing.

I'm also building another home-based business. Working from home is what I love and along with my coaching, I help people care with cards. You can learn more on my site.

Personal growth is one of my greatest areas of learning . . . along with spirituality. I read all I can on this subject, attend workshops and seminars, and work on becoming the best me I can be.

This is one of the major areas of my coaching.
