Educational Toy To Help Develop Learning Skills

Count and interact

1. The LeapFrog Phone helps a toddler to learn the numbers and counting in a fun way with songs. Using the numbers on the phone the child learn to recognize the numbers.

2. It also encourages pretend play as the child learns to do things with the phone that he or she observes adults doing. It is amazing to see how observant a child can be.

3. It also encourages social skills in interacting with others using the cell phone in their pretend play.

Kids love to play with gadgets that parents have - telephone, walkie-talkie, vacuum cleaner, typewriter.

With a Leapfrog Count And Chat, your child can "talk on the phone too" and have fun learning to count as well.

Customer Reviews

Kid's own phone at last and Mom can keep her iPhone 4!

"I purchased this phone because my baby wouldnt leave my blackberry and cordless phone alone. I have to say it is soo cool, so now she will leave my berry alone....."

"Very well designed with on/off and volume button only parent can move. very entertaining for my 15 month old - the only thing as interesting as our cell phones! It's a really great and cute introduction to numbers, too."

My 13 month old loves this "play" cell phone and he like to push the buttons. It teaches him numbers and has cute sayings. It is also very durable as it has been thrown at a few play groups. Since he was always reaching for my cell & house phone I decided to get one of these so I could keep the teeth marks off my stuff!

Could be better

The music has songs about counting and phone routines; it has four and they are very short. The call button was supposed to trade calls and messages with Scout. It has 2 ring tones and 2 short messages; both are quick conversation "how are you, nice talking to you, goodbye". I was very disappointed in it's lack of conversational abilities and messages.

"15 fun phone activities"... only if you press every number and the music and call buttons twice.
