The Leapster Learning Game System is aimed at 4-10 years old. It is very sturdy and durable. It can withstand the fall. (not that I encourage falling but with kids it can happen). The shape and size are so perfect for those little hands. I was not so sure about the screen because it seems small; however, I did not feel so when I actually got the product in my hand.

The Leapster Learning Game System comes with 2 games built in. You can, of course, buy more games. Though they are a little expensive but It is all worth it when you actually see your child learning so much.

Another thing I like is that a pen is attached for drawing and dragging and placing the objects. My daughter loves drawing. So it is just pure fun for her to keep drawing and having me guess what she has drawn!

Though you can use batteries, but I prefer the charger that is sold separately because this system uses up the batteries so fast.

Not only the Leapster games are fun but it comes in interesting colors! My daughter loves it also because it is pink! But for boys, there is a green one that looks as cool with the same features. They both come with matching cases as well.

I bought this for my 7 year old for christmas and she can't put it down...she got so many other toys for christmas and this is the one that she hasn't put down since she opened it...she is one that doesn't have a very long attention span and this has kept her attention for at least 45 minutes so far..that for her is tremendous!! The games are just so educational and fun at the same time, versus the gameboy, those games have no educational value to them whatsoever!! In reading the other comments I've heard complaints about the screen being to small but my kids havn't said a word about the screen, they see it just fine and I've played it as well and I see it just fine...it's really quite fun to play with!! I would recommend this to anyone!

We purchased this toy for our daughter prior to a long plane ride based on a friend's recommendation. It was worth every penny. She has also used it to pass the time while being on long car rides. It seems pretty tough too. We accidently dropped it on our driveway and it held up fine.
Our daughter is 4 and she loves having her own game like her big cousins. We also purchased the Princess and Clifford games and those were a big hit as well.

We got Leapsters for our 5 year old daughter and almost 4 year old son for Christmas this year. It was the best money spent! They both LOVE the games and have been playing for hours since Christmas morning. I can tell that they are already learning and the games are skill-building and confidence building. I cannot say enough good things about this product. We resisted the "video-game-stage" but friends spoke so highly of the Leapster that we decided to give it a try... and I'm so glad we did. Way to go Leapfrog! Keep these great, educational products coming!
