- A Sight for Sensitive Ears
- Neville, who is blind, remembers recording a northern water thrush in Alberta's Jasper National Park. "Every time I hear it, it makes me think of that beautiful lake tucked up in the mountains," he says. Then there were the golden-crowned sparrows. "They've got a long kind of note that they bend in a way that a jazz musician would envy."

Sharma Song - listen to a song sample here
- Sharma Song
- The White-rumped Sharma has one of the most beautiful songs among the birds of Asia's forests.
This recording begins at dawn, in a lowland subtropical forest where several Sharmas hold adjacent territories. At first they sing softly, as birds such as Hornbills, Tailorbirds, Whistlers and Flowerpeckers join the dawn chorus. With the sunrise though, they sing forth in effusive and serene countersinging.
The Sharma's song will bring joy to your heart.

Wonderful lens fellow Senior Squid. My sister-in-law bought me a DVD with over 100 bird songs. Why? Because if I hear a bird I will spend time trying to find it and identifying it. What a wonderful creation .. the BIRD! 5*s
