Why learn to cultivate a butterfly backyard garden plan?
Because many of the butterfly species are among the endangered species for the lack of natural habitats and environment favourable to their existence.
With their classy colours, grace and elegance, butterflies fill our gardens and life with pleasure, joy, and admiration. But there's a lot much more to be done before you become a successful butterfly gardener.
When you are especially gardening for butterflies, you are targeting your garden for a complete butterfly ecosystem that provide flowers for nectar, butterfly bush for baby butterflies and secure havens for pollinators, ensuring that butterflies are drawn in huge numbers to your garden and flowers.
Whilst creating plenty resources of nectar in form of flowering plants, your garden will probably be supporting the environment with green lacewings, ladybugs, along with a myriad of other insects that assist us with pest management. So you see how useful the little butterflies are to the ecosystems. And as many more individuals take to plant these butterfly gardens, we'll be making useful spaces that help the migration and raising of butterflies and the many endangered species.

Commonly used Butterfly bush whose botanical name is Buddleia davidii is actually a great nectaring plant, but isn't recommended by the botanists and environmentalists for the reason it continues to be on the checklist of the Tennessee Exotic Pest Plant Council (see http://www.se-eppc.org).
