Learn Guitar Easy
Have you wanted to learn how to play the guitar but been intimidated by it? Or maybe you've taken lessons and become frustrated? Every day someone gives up on learning to play a musical instrument because of the tedious nature of traditional teaching methods, but there is a better way for you to learn guitar easy and fast. In fact, you can be playing along with your favorite musicians and songs in just a few hours.
Playing guitar is more than just a child's hobby or Rock Star's livelihood, it can be a way to express yourself and your emotions in a fun and creative manner.
Music lets you say what you can't always find the words for. It lets you share your thoughts and feelings, make connections with others and even vent privately without having to explain yourself when that's what you need.
Music provides you with the opportunity to both connect and escape at the same time. To be part of the crowd and part of the resistance in the same moment.
Fortunately, despite what you may think it is easy to learn guitar and start playing your favorite songs in almost no time at all.
Don't get me wrong, nobody will have Clapton's skills overnight, but anybody can learn enough to start strumming along to his leads in just a few hours--and once you can do that you'll see how fun and expressive playing the guitar truly is and ready to learn more challenging methods and techniques on your own.
In other words, once you start playing and having fun you will naturally become eager to learn more and become better. That's where traditional teaching methods have always fallen short because they start with learning the "why" of playing before the "how" to play and that can be intimidating or boring and causes a lot of people to give up.
I did that myself as a child. I took 3 months of music lessons in grade school and at the end of those 3 months the teacher still had me playing boring scales, but hadn't let me learn a single song yet. I became frustrated and quit.
Then I convinced my parents to buy me a teach yourself book of easy guitar songs and on my own I was able to quickly learn acoustic guitar.
I didn't understand a lot about why the notes and chords went together, but I was having a lot of fun and learned how those notes and chords worked, and that gave me the encouragement to go on and learn more about the "why" on my own.
That was over 20 years ago and today I'm able to play guitar, bass, keyboards and piano well enough to sit in with any band. I often compose my own songs and arrangements... and I've never taken another traditional music lesson since I quit as a child.
I also have a lot of friends who play, and most of them have similar stories to my own and agree that teach yourself courses are the best approach for beginners who want to know how to learn the guitar.
So, if you've been wanting to learn acoustic guitar or any instrument my advice is to use a good teach yourself course to start out with and you'll see that you can learn guitar easy and fast on your own, then progress at your own pace.
