How to draw cartoons

Honestly, I don't know anything about drawing. I've never learned how to draw a decent animal - due to an early age bad experience with my kindergarten teacher.



I gave up on my drawing (until today!) - thinking that this is just not one of my skills. And because I have since discovered plenty of my other talents and keep discovering new interests, I didn't give much thought to drawing - or to practicing it.

This morning, however, I came across these very simple drawings of mostly animal cartoons and it dawned on me that that's the simplest way of drawing I've ever come across. Clear geometrical shapes and they still show clearly what they represent together.

Looking at them made me feel like even I could do that - and if I can do it, trust me - Anyone can. Because this is as simple as it gets. Hope this collection helps someone else, not just me!

    Kinda learned by drawing sketches on wooden objects that I was going to woodburn. Over the years I've got it down pretty good. Love to just doodle draw a lot also.
