Learn How to hypnotize people without their knowledge.

There is a very fine line between the fields of hypnosis and influence or even the skill of persuasion.
You may know how to get someone into a relaxed state and offer suggestions(Read below to see more on this) or even be able to hypnotize yourself, but when it comes to persuade a person and be able to make him believe that whatever you are saying is true seems like magic.

How to hypnotize Someone

How To Hypnotize Someone

This is what I was talking about in the introductory paragraph, where you are able to hypnotize a person by getting him into a deep and very relaxed state of mind and then offering positive suggestions or affirmations.
So go on and learn about it now.

Here are a few steps that will help you to hypnotize someone:

Step 1: First make the person comfortable, help him to relax and slow down his stream of thoughts. This will take him to an alpha state of mind which makes it easier to hypnotize a person.

Step 2: Slowly and slowly you have to make the person fully relax his body and to melt away the stress and strains in his body. Using progressive relaxation is suggested in this case.If you dont know what is progressive relaxation,I have explained it below.

Step 3:Now you need to take him into deeper and more relaxed states of mind, such as the theta and delta states. You can do this by giving him some sort of a visual suggestion such as he is floating like a feather or that he is coming down a long stair case and with each step he is going into deeper and deeper states of mind and getting more and more relaxed.

Step 4: The person is now in a trance and is ready to follow your suggestions. Speak to him in a slow manner with a clear voice.

Important Note: When you are hypnotizing someone, you wont be able to make them bark like a dog or suck their thumbs.

How to Hypnotize yourself and the states of mind.

How to hypnotize yourself

Hypnotizing yourself and hypnotizing someone is not a lot different.
All you need to do is to be able to relax your body, slow down the stream of thoughts and enter a deeply relaxed state of mind.

Following the above steps will help you to accomplish the above requirements and help you to hypnotize yourself.

After giving yourself those positive affirmations, you can either go to sleep or bring yourself back to the beta state slowly and you will be feeling much more relaxed and alert, ready to take on whatever tasks you need to do.

If you dont know about beta or delta waves. here it is :
BETA WAVES - 14Hz to 20Hz. Beta waves are associated with normal waking consciousness. They are present when you are focused on activities in the outside world.
ALPHA WAVES - 8Hz to 13Hz. Alpha waves are likened to a light meditation. They are prevalent when you daydream. They will become stronger when your eyes are closed.
THETA WAVES - 4Hz to 7Hz. Theta waves occur during heightened states of creativity and are found with a deep meditative state.
DELTA WAVES - .5Hz to 3Hz. Delta waves are found in a deep sleep state or unconsciousness. Also, Delta waves are common in very deep meditation.

So,when a person reaches the delta state of mind, then he is able to go deep into his own mind and is able to answer the psychiatrist's question.

Progressive Relaxation

This technique is often most useful when you tape the instructions beforehand. You can tape these instructions, reading them slowly and leaving a short pause after each one.

-- Lie on your back, close your eyes.

-- Feel your feet. Sense their weight. Consciously relax them and sink into the bed. Start with your toes and progress to your ankles.

-- Feel your knees. Sense their weight. Consciously relax them and feel them sink into the bed.

-- Feel you upper legs and thighs. Feel their weight. Consciously relax them and feel them sink into the bed.

-- Feel your abdomen and chest. Sense your breathing. Consciously will them to relax. Deepen your breathing slightly and feel your abdomen and chest sink into the bed.

-- Feel your buttocks. Sense their weight. Consciously relax them and feel them sink into the bed.

-- Feel your hands. Sense their weight. Consciously relax them and feel them sink into the bed.

-- Feel your upper arms. Sense their weight. Consciously relax them and feel them sink into the bed.

-- Feel your shoulders. Sense their weight. Consciously relax them and feel them sink into the bed.

-- Feel your neck. Sense its weight. Consciously relax it and feel it sink into the bed.

-- Feel your head and skull. Sense its weight. Consciously relax it and feel it sink into the bed.

-- Feel your mouth and jaw. Consciously relax them. Pay particular attention to your jaw muscles and unclench them if you need to. Feel your mouth and jaw relax and sink into the bed.

-- Feel your eyes. Sense if there is tension in your eyes. Sense if you are forcibly closing your eyelids. Consciously relax your eyelids and feel the tension slide off the eyes.

-- Feel your face and cheeks. Consciously relax them and feel the tension slide off into the bed.

-- Mentally scan your body. If you find any place that is still tense, then consciously relax that place and let it sink into the bed.

Using Covert Hypnosis or Conversational Hypnosis in everyday Life.

Why should anyone use covert hypnosis(or conversational hypnosis) and how does one apply it in real life situations?

1.The first thing that comes to my mind is helping out your family and friends.
There could be a depressed person in your family and most of the times they dont want any sort of treatment. They just want to be left alone and stay depressed. This is where you would just go and talk to them, and using covert hypnosis techniques, you make them feel better and even persuade them to get treatment. It would feel real good, when you use these techniques for the good of others.

2.After having helped our family and friends,we would like to help ourselves too. So how could conversational hypnosis help us? Well, for starters we could convince our boss to give us a raise or influence him to give us a promotion.

And while we convince our boss to give us a promotion,we can go ahead and make more sales than our colleagues and be able to persuade clients that they are making a wise decision if they buy our company's products.

I have read the covert hypnosis techniques and have found that we dont have to use those flashing lights and swinging pendulums to hypnotize a person.

Conversational hypnosis has more to do with
- creating rapport with a person,
getting the person involved in a Story, so that the objections and resistance in their mind gets cleared up
- and using subtle suggestions to change their belief structures and their behaviour.

The most important part is being able to give commands or subtle suggestions embedded within your story.

Is Hypnotism Just a Myth?

There are a lot of myths around here about hypnosis.
A few of these Myths are:
*Hypnotism doesn't exist.
*Only doctors should Practice Hypnosis
*It is dangerous to use hypnosis.
*You can get stuck in hypnosis.
*Hypnosis can be harmful if you dont know what you are doing.

It is all about influencing someone and make them do whatever you want.
Some examples of mass hypnosis being used in everyday life -- This is so common in advertisements.
The advertisers make you believe that using a certain deodorant/perfume makes girls fall all over you.

That buying those ab machines which look weird could give you those perfect six pack abs and that.... oh, the list is too long.

So, it is really a myth that only doctors practice hypnosis. It is just being able to influence someone. A charismatic person can make others dance around like puppets according to his whims.

Now, about learning it . You have to learn neuro linguistic programming, influencing techniques(these are used a lot by sales people),language patterns. Maybe go to your library and read books about nlp. There are even some courses about hypnotizing people on the web. Just search for it.
