ALBERT EINSTEIN (Well Renound Mathamatician, Scientest)

If you want to learn to draw caricatures properly then you need the right tips and direction, you just wont pull it of if you just decide one day,

"I WANT TO DRAW CARICATURES".

You do need a little help on learning these tips even as an experienced artist i needed the help, now im drawing great Caricatures. Caricatures are only hard to draw if you don`t realize the basic fundimentals of what they are meant to be.

A caricature is a likeness of a real person it is meant to be funny, so the persons features and personality have to be exadurated to make it work and to be funny.
All though it is not a portrait of a person it has to look little like the person you are trying to Caricaturize.
The obvious features and personality is the hardest and most important part of learning to draw these caricatures properly.

"Well for me it was",
even though i could draw portraits! I just could not draw caricatures because i simply didn`t know that the features and personality was that important for a Caricature picture work and work well, even if it isnt an exact likeness of the person your drawing,
"FEATURES & PERSONALITY,"
get that right then you are well on your way to drawing excellent caricatures every time...

ERIC CANTONA (Former Manchester United Footballer)

Even an experienced artist needs direction to learn to draw caricatures easily. There are many art forms out there,
everything has its way to be drawn properly for it to be what it is meant to be.

When you draw things whatever it is be it cartoons, still life, portraits or what ever, there is a wrong way to learn, this is what most people WOULD do FIRSTLY and then get frustrated while doing it.
There are many people who draw including myself who could look at this picture and draw it exact.
but learning to draw caricatures from a normal picture is not as easy believe me i tried and tried every time i got it wrong.

So i got the direction and tips just how to do it and now you can too..

WOODY ALLEN (Comedian, Actor, Writer)

Once you learn how to draw caricatures quickly and easily there is no stopping you drawing your friends and family as caricatures.

Who knows this could even make you some money selling your drawings to the person like i have done all ready with portraits !! Even just if you want to adapt it to the talent you already have like myself it is more pictures for your wall or portfolio which i am building at present to get my place in college maybe some day ill be a well known artist then which is my dream.

All types of art i like to learn, Caricatures is my recent type of art that i have learned you could too if that is an interest of yours...

LEE EVANS (Comedian, Actor, Singer)

Now that i have learned the basics and whats important about drawing caricatures.

I drew this by just looking at lee evans on the televison one evening. As you can see it isnt an exact likeness it still works because you see obvious features exadurated and the drawing has a personality of Lee Evans.

If you ever seen him on stage you would see it very funny man this guy and very fidge-ity on stage always throwing himself around the place, making funny faces and noises.

I found it hard to draw to be fair so we all need the right direction sometimes no matter what we know how to draw everything has the right way or the wrong way. Simple as that really!

Oh this is excellent. I took art classes on a grant offered at my school when I was in grade 7-8 (otherwise my family could not have afforded it). My art teacher recommended me for it and was a fabulous teacher, just like you. I draw caricatures of my cats, even began a book series based on the adventures of 'Boo and Pika.' People really love this kind of gift. I've sculpted mini caricature 'friends' of mine (10+ years ago) and they STILL cherish them - ha, who knew? I must add this as a feature of yours in my right sidebar of my 'Squidoo people with a good heart.'
